Two in the Canoe (Basic Tandem Paddler) -Think you know how to canoe? Hop in the boat and learn to control the canoe's movement with precision. Understand the craft, manage safety concerns and fill in teh gaps that wil open opportunity for exploration and fun! Courses go in all weather. Participants earn Level 1, Basic Tandem Paddler certification from the Recreational Canoeing Association of BC. Bring lunch, snacks, water and a PFD (may be available, if needed.) Join us at 8AM for an optional, outdoor yoga session for an additional $5 each day. Weekend course: May 8th 9AM-1PM and May 9th 9AM-3PM
Learn the basics of canoeing to help you paddle safely and control the canoe with confidence. Classes run rain or shine, so dress appropriately for the weather. Receive a Level 1 Recreational Canoe Association of BC certificate upon successful completion.
